SUSTAINABILITY
At Inversiones Hoteleras Segorbe we are fully committed to improving the sustainability of our operations, both in terms of electricity and gas consumption, water consumption, reducing the consumption of chemicals and plastics and using local products and suppliers whenever possible.
Hotel Martín el Humano
Since 2014 we are running 2 microcogeneration turbines, which allow us to generate 10 kWp of electrical energy while producing hot water for our clients and the Spa.
Installation of a photovoltaic energy production system with a total installed power of 15 kwp in the facilities area of HOTEL MARTIN EL HUMANO.
The installation is in the deployment phase and we expect a reduction of the total electrical energy consumed by the hotel of 10% per year. This installation will be complemented by an additional installation with similar power in 2023.
HOTEL MARTIN EL HUMANO will complete the replacement of 90% of its luminaires with LED technology in December 2022.
The new Spa, which will be installed in January 2023, will produce a large reduction in total water consumption.
Hotel Maria de Luna
Installation of a photovoltaic energy production system with a total installed power of 23 kWp on the terrace of the MARIA DE LUNA HOTEL.
The installation has been fully operational since 2021 and has produced a reduction in the total electrical energy consumed by the hotel of 30% per year.
